WorthinessJan 18, 2021
Are you a generous, thoughtful, and empathetic human being?
Of course you are.
You acknowledge the dignity of others and believe they are deserving of your respect and kindness.
And, of course, you extend this sense of value and worthiness toward yourself, right?
Embracing our own inherent value is a struggle for many of us. Why is that?
Even more important, what can you do about it?
It might help to adopt a short daily practice of embodying your own goodness and consequence.
Science says that visualization and affirmations can help. But I'd assert action is a more powerful lever for adjusting your mindset.
To feel worthy, act worthy.
Set small goals and take small steps into them daily. Be intentional about who you spend time with and what you say. Hold space and grace for yourself when your inner critic starts chattering or imposter syndrome comes to call.
Smile more often and stay positive. Practice patience, acceptance, and humility from the inside out.
You are not insufficient or broken. You're a work in progress.
You can't serve others fully if you can't first fully serve yourself.
Lean into your potential daily and you will soon find yourself developing and delivering on your promise.
How can you cultivate and activate your own worthiness right now?
