Sustainability

A few weeks ago I spoke with Michael Bungay Stanier, author of The Coaching Habit, about my work with Creative On Purpose. During our chat, he said something that knocked me back on my heels a bit.

"You need to have a sustainable life. If you are a force for good in this world,
get your shit together around how you fund that."

For the better part of two years, I've been cranking out free content that seeks to help others experience greater fulfillment and prosperity through developing their potential and delivering on their promise.

I've received countless endorsements about the value of this work, including this blurb for The Stoic Creative from my friend, mentor, and employer, best-selling author and altMBA creator Seth Godin:

"Scott will open your eyes to a different way of doing work that matters. His generous, persistent, consistent belief in our ability to level up and contribute comes through. This is time well spent."

I've loved every minute I've been immersed in this work. It's connected me with hundreds of amazing fellow travelers who inform and inspire my efforts. It's made me a better teacher and a better person.

And it's cost me thousands of dollars in training and platform building. The time for sustainability is now. Now is the time.

For the past few months, I've been building a membership site called the Difference Makers. A place for people like us to gather twice a month in a live online meeting.

Each month begins with a training to help members go further with the CoP concepts and process. Mid-month we gather for a live Q&A. At the end-of-the-month we gather for an accountability and feedback session.

There are also resources for setting and achieving meaningful goals, cultivating creativity, and practicing purposeful work and living.

It's an endeavor in which I promise to over-deliver and iterate based on member needs and feedback.

It's an enterprise that will be enhanced by your presence and will help us all have greater reach and impact.

It's an opportunity for those I serve to help fund and sustain the work I seek to do.

I hope you'll consider joining at whatever level you are able so that together we can keep flying higher.
